This is my whole picture of the poster. I wanted to show 5parts about America according to my first impression. Some of them are similar with my culture and well accepted for me but some of them are not. I am going to explain 'WHY' compare two cultures. Above the three pictures are good examples to show the similarities and differences about the Wedding culture. In Korea, we have traditional wedding ceremony : wearing HanBok, which is traditional coutume for special occasions, traditionl ritual as shown on the second picture. But it has been changed to western style. When you see the third picture, you might find weird things. Some of them are wearing traditional costume but some of them are not, especially groom and bride. We usually have 2 stages for the wedding ceremony, traditional style and western style. So groom and bride have to change their outfit for second stage, traditional style which is called 'PyeBaek'. But I think the meaning of marriage has been changed a lot in America. It's getting more complicated. There is no rules and forms such as sexual identity, wedding ceremony. But I can say that Korean wedding style is definitely 'Melting pot'. For this short essay, I don't want to attach a lot of different informations so I am going to close here.

In my opinion, food represents the culture. So I wouldn't say that which food is better or worse. It's just a way of living. Rice is considered major and basic meal for Korean. For eating rice, which doesn't have strong taste, we need side dishes like a second picture. Some of side dishes take long time to make. For example, making Kimchi needs at least 5hours because before mixing all the ingredients, it has to be pickled with salt for a couple of hours. And then we have to wait 2 or 3days to eat because it needs to be fermented. But, as long as I know about American food, it takes less time to make compare at Korean's. After I came here, I usually have American style lunch and Korean style dinner to save my time. I think it is good combination.

This section is the most impressive for me. In America, there are a lot of adult school and many people keep educating by themselves. And there is no limitation due to age. After finishing courses, people expect to have better job or better life because they don't need to mention their age on the resume. If people want to have a job in Korea people have to write down their age because there is a blank for age on the resume form obviously.

what does it say on the clothe in the korea's wedding ceremony?
