


Above three pictures were taken in Seoul, Korea. They attened St. Patrick day parade which is Irish traditional day. Last year I saw same parade in Chicago even though I still don't know what exactly is. I want to ask all, "Does that show melting pot or salad bowl?" It's very hard to figure out because it could be both. Irish people try to keep their traditions, it means the pictures represent 'salad bowl'. On the other hand, Korean participated that parade for fun or for supporting them, whatever, it means close to 'melting pot'.
It might be appropreate answer that figuring the meaning out is not necessary because our world has been changed a lot and we need to keep up with that.
I think is so cool how another culture people enjoy other even from another culture. that is the perfect example of how many country are in one country. And how we mix our cultures in America.
